Head of Product & Go-to-Market
Nick Wilger is Managing General Partner and Head of Product & Go-to-Market at Egnatia Ventures, where he transforms studio and founder concepts into reality through user research, native prototyping and GTM revenue hacking.
Nick's path into technology entrepreneurship was unconventional. Raised in the rural Midwest, he learned discipline early through competitive gymnastics. He left to complete a degree in Business and Theology at Southern Seminary in Kentucky while teaching himself software development on the side. Early investors in his ideas challenged him to build before raising capital, and that pressure shaped his bias toward execution over ideas. Products had to work, scale, and create real value. Speed mattered, but impact and clarity mattered more.
In 2020, Nick launched Effycient, a custom software development business with a cross-border approach, pairing American business rigor with Balkan engineering talent. Relocating to Montenegro, he eventually met the love of his life, and they made their home in Albania. With certificates in coaching and trauma counseling and a Master's in AI Engineering from Quantic School of Business and Technology, Nick leads with wide experience and deep expertise.
Before Egnatia, Nick launched more than a 20 online products through VC’s and as a Co-Founder. An example is that he co-founded and served as CTO of AIR Language, an EdTech platform he helped scale from 3 to over 200 public school districts in the US while securing a six-figure pre-seed raise. His experiences setting up operations, growth hacking, and raising pre-seed capital are exactly what any early stage company needs. He currently advises a handful of companies including Turkey's leading nutritional planning platform, where he helped secure pre-seed funding and provides GTM and technical leadership.
At Egnatia, Nick approaches founders with the mindset of an experienced coach, helping them validate ideas rapidly, build high-fidelity MVPs, and execute go-to-market playbooks that connect innovation from the Balkans to customers in Europe, the US, and globally.
